UNIMALNEWS | Lhokseumawe - Universitas Malikussaleh has successfully achieved the Performance Accountability System for Government Agencies (SAKIP) A accreditation and completed the performance reporting for the year 2023. In the official statement, Azhari revealed that the performance report for the year 2023 recorded excellent results. The budget performance value for the implementation of RKA-K/L Satker, which was supposed to reach 92.4, exceeded the target with a score of 94, earning Universitas Malikussaleh the SAKIP A accreditation.

In terms of research and community service, the performance of Universitas Malikussaleh is also impressive, with a score of 0.83, exceeding the previously set target of 0.3. The percentage of lecturers actively involved in Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi (the university’s three main responsibilities of education, research, and community service) activities outside the campus, working as practitioners in the industrial sector, or mentoring students to achieve excellence exceeded the target by 61.08%.

Dr. Mukhlis, Vice Rector for General and Financial Affairs, underlined the importance of international accreditation as a Key Performance Indicator (KPI). "In collaboration with LP3M, we assist study programs in preparing to apply for accreditation from international assessment such as FIBAA, A3ES, ACQUIN, and others."

The Rector of Universitas Malikussaleh expressed his appreciation for the improvement of the SAKIP score, which dropped to BB last year, but rose to A in 2023. Prof. Herman Fithra, Asean Eng., urged the entire academic community of Universitas Malikussaleh to continue to improve the quality of performance in order to provide the best educational services and make Universitas Malikussaleh a presence for all levels of society.
