UNIMALNEWS | Songkhla - The Faculty of Economics and Business and the Faculty of Engineering of Universitas Malikussaleh (UNIMAL) successfully carried out a Student Mobility program in collaboration with the Faculty of Management Science (FMS), Prince Songkhla University (PSU), from December 11 to December 16, 2024.

According to the Head of Management Departement, Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Malikussaleh, Dr Darmawati, this program aimed to strengthen international relations and enhance the quality of education and skills of students through practical experiences abroad.
The mobility program was participated by 39 students, including 20 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business and 19 from the Faculty of Engineering of Unimal. During the program, participants engaged in various key activities, including a workshop themed "Sustainable Event and Project Management Incubation, which was attended by 11 faculty members from Universitas Malikussaleh," she said.
The workshop was designed to provide valuable insights into sustainable project management for events and incubating innovative projects.
During the 1st day of the event, an important milestone was marked with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony between PSU and Unimal. Prof Dr Herman Fithra, Rector of Universitas Malikussaleh, delivered a speech expressing his appreciation to Dr. Wanamina Bostan as Assistant Dean of Faculty Management and Science and Teams for designing and organizing this successful program, this program also allowing more than 30 student from PSU particularly.
In his address, Prof Herman Fithra highlighted that the entire series of activities was carefully planned to benefit Unimal's students, enabling them to establish meaningful communication and connections with peers from PSU.
"This collaboration is a crucial step in strengthening academic networks and promoting cross-cultural exchanges. The interactions and shared experiences between our students and those from PSU will be instrumental in expanding their perspectives and enhancing their global competencies," he said.
The MoU signing ceremony represents a significant step in formalizing the cooperation between PSU and UNIMAL, with plans for future joint academic initiatives, research projects, and student exchanges.
